How to make homeade soft pretzels

Enjoy some homeade preztzels sure to give your taste buds a salty surprise...

1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
3/4 cup of warm / hot water make sure its a temp that wouldnt burn your hand
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups flour ( plus more for kneading )
1 egg ( lightly beaten )

Preheat oven to 425F

Add sugar and water to a bowl. Stir , add yeast , gently stir . set aside.

In a separated bowl , combine the flour and salt. When yeast is frothy ( Bubbly,  foggy ) Add the flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Turn out dough on to a lightly floured surface . Knead for 3 Minutes , or until dough is smooth.

Shape into desired shape and place on a lightly greased bakeing sheet ( pam works too) , Brush with the eggs and sprinkle with extra salt , Bake for 15 minutes, or until prestzels are golden brown . Allow to cool before enjoying!! 
Tip the thiner the dough the harder it will be after cooked :)
